The Madhuri Set - Poshaak & dupatta

Deep magenta has been the colour of Shringaar — the highest act of divine adornment — in Vaishnav temples for centuries. The wine-purple tone sits between the devotion of red and the royalty of violet, carrying both. Priests in the major temples of Vrindavan reserve this colour for the most auspicious occasions in the devotional calendar.

Every inch of the Madhuri poshaak is covered in silver sequins and pearl beads — no base fabric left unembellished. Pearl beads scatter light softly in all directions. Silver sequins reflect it sharply. Placed together across the same surface, the two finishes create a continuous alternation of soft glow and hard flash. In diya light, the poshaak breathes.
