Peacock Zardosi Silk Poshaak — Saffron
Saffron resonates at 610–620 THz — the warmest visible frequency in the spectrum. It is the colour of Surya, the sun. Governed by the first planet in the Navagraha, saffron on the murti signals vitality, beginning, and the energy of the first fire. Every space it inhabits is warmer for it.
Zardosi is hand-embroidered with real metal thread wound over a pure silk base. Each motif requires three artisans working a minimum of forty hours to complete. The weight of the metal thread on silk produces a drape that no machine-made fabric can approximate — it settles on the murti with an authority that marks the piece as heirloom from the first dressing.
Reserved for warmest moments. A single fresh marigold at the feet completes the Alankar. The saffron draws every eye to his face; nothing else needs to compete with it.
