The Vrindavan Set — Poshaak & Dupatta

₹3.500

The Fact

Vrindavan — literally the forest of Vrinda (the tulsi plant) — is described in the Bhagavata Purana as a garden where every flower bloomed out of season, every tree bore fruit year-round, and every bird sang without stopping. This was not mythology. This was the effect of his presence. The multicoloured garden embroidery on this poshaak is that description made into fabric.

The Science

The Vrindavan poshaak uses multicolour sequin flowers against a gold vine base — each colour sequin reflects a different wavelength of light simultaneously. Red, blue, pink, orange and green surfaces active at once create what colour scientists call a full-spectrum surface — no single dominant wavelength. In diya light, the poshaak reads as warm and alive rather than monochrome and static. It is the most visually dynamic poshaak in the Vaasya line.

Alankar — Styling Note

Vrindavan is a Mangalvaar poshaak — red, Mars, Tuesday — but joyful enough for any festival. Pair with a gold mala, the peacock mukut, and a mixed flower offering at his feet — marigold, rose, whatever is in season. The garden on the poshaak will tell you what to place beside it.
