Paisley Scrollwork Poshaak — Emerald
Green operates at 520–560 THz — the frequency of growth, regeneration, and the living earth. Governed by Budh — Mercury — it is the colour of Wednesday, of new commerce, and of the garden of Vrindavan itself. On the murti, green carries the energy of the place where Krishna was raised.
Zardosi is embroidered with metal thread wound over a silk base. The weight of the metal thread on silk produces a drape that settles on the murti with an authority that marks the piece as heirloom from the first dressing.
Reserved for the major saawan celebrations. Pair with the peacock feather mukut and the emerald crystal mala. Complete with fresh green leaves — tulsi or mango — at the base of the offering plate. The green poshaak on saawan honours the garden energy of Vrindavan directly.
