The Fact
The spiral sequin construction echoes the rangoli patterns drawn at temple entrances each morning — spirals meant to draw the eye inward, toward the centre, toward him. The floral applique at the border is the garden that the spiral is always circling back to.
The Science
Pastel tones reflect a broader, softer range of the visible spectrum than fully saturated colour — less light is absorbed, more is scattered evenly. This is the optical reason pastel poshaaks read as gentle and luminous even under strong midday sun, rather than washed out.
