Meharbaan - Poshaak & Pagdi set
The Fact
Bandhani dotting combined with zari floral embroidery is a pairing found in Rajasthani royal textiles — two techniques from two different traditions brought onto one fabric, one for texture, one for ornament.
The Science
The pearl and kundan work sits along the border in a continuous band rather than scattered — this concentrates reflected light at the edge of the poshaak, drawing the eye outward to the full circumference rather than to any single point.
Alankar — Styling Note
A Mangalvaar poshaak, red at full strength. Pair with a gold mala and a red hibiscus at his feet. The matching pagdi is made specifically for this poshaak — worn together, always.
