Natkhat Enamel Khadau — Green & Red
Krishna walked barefoot through the fields of Vrindavan, through the forests and the riverbanks, and eventually — as his sandals have it — through every home where his murti is kept. The khadau in miniature is the most domestic of all the Natkhat accessories: the reminder that he walked here.
Paired sandals hand-crafted in green enamel with red detailing and rhinestone embellishment. Each sandal is cast separately and hand-finished — the dome shape at the top is a traditional khadau form. The green-red colour combination follows the Budhvaar palette exactly.
Place one on each side of the murti at the base, as if he has just stepped out of them. Best paired with the green poshaak on Wednesdays — the khadau in the Wednesday Alankar is the complete Vrindavan offering: the garden colours and the garden sandals.
