The Fact
Pearl work — moti embroidery — has been used on temple textiles for centuries, valued for the way it catches light without competing with the colour beneath it. Every pearl on this poshaak is placed by hand, one at a time, along the border and around each heart-shaped petal.
The Science
Pearls scatter light softly in every direction, unlike a faceted stone which throws light in sharp points. This is why the moti work reads as a gentle glow rather than a sharp sparkle — it softens the deep green base rather than competing with it.

A Budhvaar poshaak — deep green and cream, Mercury's forest colours. Pair with a tulsi mala and fresh green leaf. The matching pagdi is made specifically for this poshaak — worn together, always.
