Mor Bahar - Poshaak & Pagdi set
The Fact
The peacock is Krishna's most consistent companion in iconography — the feather in his crown, the bird beside him in Vrindavan, the symbol of his identity across every temple tradition. A border worked entirely in peacock motifs is not decoration. It is his own emblem, repeated.
The Science
The gold coiled thread work catches light differently from a flat embroidered surface — each coil creates a small raised ridge, so the peacock motifs appear textured and dimensional rather than printed flat against the fabric.
Alankar — Styling Note
A Guruvaar poshaak — yellow, Jupiter's colour. Pair with a pearl or gold mala and a single marigold. The matching stone-set peacock pagdi is made specifically for this poshaak — worn together, always.
