Peacock Layered Mukut — Heirloom
The peacock tail design in a crown is the highest expression of the Krishna mukut tradition — it references the specific crown that Krishna himself is described as wearing in the Bhagavata Purana, the one that incorporates the feathers of his peacock companion directly into its structure.
Multi-layered construction in gold-plated metal with dense rhinestone coverage across five colours, following the eye pattern of real peacock feathers. The wing extensions on either side are hand-shaped separately and attached — they cannot be machine-pressed into this form without losing the dimensional quality that makes the piece what it is.
Reserved for Janmashtami and the major celebrations only. The size and visual weight of this mukut means it commands the entire Alankar — everything else should be chosen to support it rather than compete with it. The poshaak should be the richest in the collection; the mala, the most complete.
