Gold Filigree Mukut
The mukut is the last piece placed in the Alankar — it is the crown that completes the deity, the final gesture of the dressing ritual. In the temple tradition, no darshan is given to a murti that has not received its mukut first.
This is the mukut you reach for without thinking. The one that works with the Nitya cotton on a Tuesday and the Chamak set on a Thursday. The one that is already on him when you light the diya.
Place the mukut last, after the poshaak and the mala are already in place. Centre it precisely — a tilted mukut is the only Alankar error that is immediately visible. Pair with any everyday poshaak as a constant.
