Gemstone Mala — Red & Blue
Red and blue in combination represent the two planetary extremes of the Navagraha — Mars and Saturn, action and stillness, fire and sky. A mala that carries both is suited to the transitional festivals — the ones that fall between the planetary days and draw on multiple energies simultaneously.
Alternating red coral and white rhinestone-studded spacer rings, hand-strung with an ornate gold central connector set with multicolour gemstones. The combination of hard stone and metal work in a single mala requires careful balancing of weight — the central connector is the anchor that holds both materials in proportion.
A festive mala for the major celebrations and for any occasion where the full devotional expression is the goal. Pair with the jewelled mukut and the Heirloom poshaak for the complete festival Alankar. The two trailing silk cords are a traditional finish — leave them hanging.
