Emerald Crystal Bead Mala
Emerald green is the colour of Budh — Mercury — and of the living earth of Vrindavan. Worn on the murti on Budhvaar, the emerald mala completes the Wednesday Alankar in the most literal sense — it carries the frequency of the day directly into the devotional space.
Faceted crystal beads in emerald green, hand-strung with gold-plated metal spacers set with white rhinestones. The faceting is machine-cut but the stringing and closure work is done by hand — each mala requires individual knotting between beads to prevent slippage.
The Wednesday mala. Pair with the green everyday poshaak and the gold filigree mukut for the complete Budhvaar Alankar. Can also be used on any festive occasion where green is the chosen colour — the emerald complements every shade of the colour.
